Hong Kong is the hub of Asia for international gathering!

  • With a central location in Asia Pacific, Hong Kong is an international business, trade and financial hub recognized as a springboard to and from Asia.
  • Building on its foundational free market economic policy, Hong Kong has developed into a modern, vibrant and cosmopolitan services economy, underpinning the role of the city as a global business platform.
  • Hong Kong hosts more than 45 recurrent trade shows each year. Its success as a pre-eminent trade fair location lies in its superb exhibition facilities, its proximity to buyers and sellers, and in the important small details that mean so much to a show's success.
  • Hong Kong was voted the "Best Business City" in Northeast Asia in the annual reader's poll organized by the Business Traveler Asia Pacific (Sept. 2008).

With the introduction of the AFE in 2008 it just made sense for CMS to attend and to continue attending every year since. The resources available there from the U.S. Dept. of Commerce and the invaluable advice given was worth the trip.  Anyone interested in doing business in Asia would be foolish not to attend.  We, as Americans, are always complaining about the fact that we too often see "Made in China" on products. The AFE is a great (and very cost effective) avenue for American firms to turn that tide.  "Made in the USA" stickers found in China?  Why not?
