Continuing Education
Continuing education credit may be available, depending on your state. If you wish to apply for continuing education, you MUST register by February 8, 2012.
Cancellation for NFDA Registration
$100.00 cancellation fee for any cancellations prior to April 19, 2012. Must be received in writing and faxed (262-789-6977) or postmarked by April 19, 2012. NDFA reserves the right to cancel this event due to circumstances beyond its control. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of this event, registrants will have the option to either receive a full registration refund or transfer registration to the same program at a future date. NFDA liability for any cancellation is limited to a refund of the registration fee and shall not extend to any other claims including, but not limited to, travel expense, cancellation fees, lost wages, inconvenience and other related costs.
Tax Deductibility
Please note that the visit to the Expo may be a legitimate tax deduction for NFDA members. Of course, we always suggest you seek advice from your accountant. Note that if you are traveling with another person not working in the funeral home, then you may deduct the single cost of the trip on your taxes. The IRS allows this higher deduction because you are not penalized by law for taking a spouse or guest. However, if both you and your spouse/guest are involved in their funeral home, then you both may be able to deduct this trip from your taxes. Please consult your tax advisor for more details.
